Donald Maurice Coleman, age 70, known to his family and friends as Maury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2026, with his loving wife Barbara by his side. He was born in December 1955 in Albany GA, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. With a larger-than-life personality and laugh, he served Christ in his faith.

Maury loved to play the drums and performed with multiple local bands across the region over the years.

Surviving Maury is his wife, the love of his life, Barbara Coleman; his children, Paul Lacey and Tammy Devan; his grandchildren, Sarah Saje, Samantha Lacey, Tim Zaragoza, Chris Zaragoza, Kenny Lacey; his sister-in-law, DeEtta Moffitt; his sister and brother-in-law, Donna Coleman Martin and Michael Q. Martin; his brother and sister-in-law, Matt Coleman and Vivian Towne Coleman; his nieces, Sarah Coleman and Dianna Martin; his nephews, Brian Coleman and Robert Coleman.

A Celebration of life will be planned, however; the date has not yet been determined. The arrangements will be announced once finalized and completed.

The care of the Coleman family has been entrusted to Beam Tri-County Funeral Service.
