From the time he was a young boy, Shane had already found his first love…the football field. Throughout his childhood and teenage years, football became more than just a game—it was where his determination, discipline, and love for a team began. His family never missed a game, cheering him on from the sidelines with pride. Those evenings under the lights became treasured memories that would last a lifetime.
He had a gift for noticing people. If someone was in need, he would come in quietly, leave what was needed, and quietly slip away. His kindness was never about being seen—it was about helping in a way that made someone's life a little easier.
A lifelong learner, Shane possessed curiosity about learning. He loved history and studying.
Of all the things and people he loved and treasured, none could take the place of his family. Shane adored his mother, Melda, who was able to take her journey home early. Shane’s dad, Alan, and his brother, Dustin, were always looking out for each other making sure that the family was taken care of. However, there is a different kind of love and that is the love of a father. He loved his children. Maddie and Sage were his greatest pride. His son, Sage, inherited his father’s love of football and passion for learning. Their shared interests created a bond that was filled with encouragement and love. His daughter, Maddie, filled his heart with joy through her adventurous spirit and love of travel. He enjoyed watching her embrace every new experience, knowing she carried with her the courage and curiosity he admired. His fiancée, Amy Wright brought Shane great peace, love, and joy in life with many fun adventures.
Those who loved Shane will remember his presence, his quiet wisdom, and his willingness to help without ever seeking recognition.
Shane is now with his loving mother, Melda Biddix, and his cherished grandparents, Arnce and Zeola Biddix, and Jo Etta and J.D. Hollifield.
While our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in the kindness he leaves behind. Some lives speak loudly, while others whisper. He will be missed beyond words and loved forever.
