Teresa Silver, age 57, of Ivy Street in Burnsville, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.

Born on May 29, 1969 in Yancey County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Arthur and Lily Robinson Silver. She was also preceded in death by a brother; Jesse Silver.

Teresa was a Christian. Prior to declining health, she was employed by Brookside Health & Rehab in Burnsville. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flowers and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memories are her significant other; Dylan Presnell, her daughter; Jennifer Fowler, and her granddaughter; Tabitha Fowler.

In accordance with Teresa’s wishes, no services are planned at this time. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
